Szent Erzsébet Spa

Szikes Mórahalom – Visitor Centre, Buffalo Reserve & Stork Shelter

The Szikes Mórahalom Visitor Centre offers an exciting introduction to the unique world of the saline steppes. Interactive exhibitions, spectacular presentations and modern experiential elements bring visitors closer to the natural treasures of the area.

Several routes start from the visitor centre, allowing you to explore the surroundings of the lake. Along the nature trails, information boards provide insights into the flora and fauna of this special habitat, while the designated viewpoints offer beautiful panoramic views of Lake Nagyszéksós and the surrounding steppe.

One of the highlights of the excursion is the Nagyszéksós Buffalo Reserve, where you can observe one of the characteristic animals of the Great Hungarian Plain up close.

Park of a Thousand Years

The Park of a Thousand Years, also known as the Mórahalom Open-Air Museum, is located on a two-hectare site and presents the architectural symbols and historical heritage of historic Hungary in the form of scale models at a ratio of 1:25. Churches, castles, palaces, manor houses and other historic monuments can be seen throughout the park, alongside representations of the Danube and Tisza rivers and Lake Balaton.

Kétforrás Experience Estate

The Kétforrás Experience Estate, with its riding yard and game farm, offers a unique insight into everyday life in the countryside, close to nature. Visitors can not only go horseback riding and pet and feed the animals, but also learn how a self-sustaining farm operates. The programme also provides an introduction to keeping poultry and growing peppers and tomatoes.

Patkó Equestrian Theatre

The Mórahalom Equestrian Theatre is Hungary's unique covered equestrian theatre, where spectacular musicals and historical performances come to life through impressive equestrian productions. This special experience combines the excitement of theatre with traditional equestrian culture, offering an unforgettable experience for all ages.

Strudel House

Strudel House is located in the centre of Mórahalom. In addition to traditional strudels, you can also try a variety of special flavours, including pumpkin, cabbage, savoury cottage cheese, apricot and cottage cheese, and sour cherry and cottage cheese strudels. Savoury cheese and sesame breadsticks are also available.

National Livestock & Market Fair

The Mórahalom National Livestock & Market Fair is a traditional fair held regularly in Mórahalom. It welcomes visitors to the town's fairground on the third Sunday of every month.

Cycling & Running

The beautiful natural surroundings and the excellent-quality, 44-kilometre-long cycle path provide the perfect setting for those who enjoy walking and running, while also offering a safe route for cycling tours.
