Szeged is the county seat of Csongrád County and the largest city of South-East Hungary. Szeged is situated near the southern border of Hungary, 170 km from Budapest. The city is built at the confluence of the rivers Tisza and Maros. Mórahalom is 20 km west of the city. Throughout the year “the City of Sunshine” organises a great number of cultural, gastronomic and sport events, festivals and fairs to attract and entertain its visitors including the guests of Hotel Colosseum.
